Hanging Gardens - Mexican Roots

GARDENS BY THE BAY - AUGUST 2022

In this exhibition, Mexicans, Singaporeans and other nationalities participated in the elaboration of the decorative elements.

The exhibition included major installations, children’s activities, gastronomy demonstrations and performances by the Mexican Folkloric ballet groups, which is formed from Mexican, local and international participants.

Artisans from Mexico came to Singapore to build a floral arch, with more than 45k hand-made flowers at the entrance of the Flower Dome, which welcomed more than 230k visitors during the exhibition.

More than 15k orchids, bromeliads, aroids, chili peppers, tomatoes, chayote and corn were specially planted in the magnificent Dome of Flowers, to frame this extraordinary display.

My company managed the collaboration between Gardens by the Bay, Mexican Embassy in Singapore, Mexican Association of Singapore, Mexican artisans, local contractors and numerous local and international volunteers.
